Volnastad Campaign Map

This region map was created for an 18-month campaign using the Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition fantasy tabletop roleplaying game. The players began as rulers of a humble county in the Temnota Rainforest, but before the campaign's end were teleporting back and forth across the continent to settle a decades-long civil war. Set in a world of industrial fantasy where magic was forbidden or strictly controlled, much of the setting was inspired by steampunk elements. 

The map was entirely hand-painted in Photoshop using custom brushes and settings (such as a good deal of jitter and color dynamics).
