This was a stylistic update to the Herff Jones Medals & Awards catalog, which I had overhauled in 2018, but our brand had shifted in the years since. Headers and text were moved to horizontal blocks instead of columns on the page edge, and our primary typeface was shifted from Tungsten to Benton Sans. We also updated the cover to match our Class of 2023 high school catalogs, the back cover to a simple photo (rather than a product cluster), and had all-new photography of our plaques and trophies (several of which had simply been updated in Photoshop for years). As a bonus, our Assistant Creative Director got to model as a teacher, which helped add a human element to an otherwise very product-focused piece.
This catalog has been updated since for pricing and product tweaks, but the core design has remained static. The version for 2023-2024 is available on Issuu for online viewing here.
